My name is Christopher Lee and I am a multidisciplinary designer and illustrator. I'm also an avid toy collector. I grew up in Sacramento, California and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in graphic design from Sacramento State in 2006. I have loved drawing for as long as I can remember and for the times that I can't recall, I have my Mom to thank for saving all of my old doodles (thanks Mom!).
My story is pretty much like every other kid that grew up in the 80's and early 90's: Saturday morning cartoons, Super Soakers in the summer, bowls of sugar laced cereals, jet fighter shaped fruit snacks, Commander Mark, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Disney Afternoons. Those early obsessions have influenced my work and life permanently. If you didn't already know that I'm huge geek at heart, you will after browsing through some of my work.
After I graduated college, I moved to Southern California to start anew. Since moving I’ve worked as an art director for the now defunct skate and urban culture magazine Vapors, had a couple vinyl toys released through various channels, and was later recruited to Buck, a place I called home until the fall of 2009 when I decided to finally strike off on my own.
I have been independent ever since.
I currently live in Los Angeles with my girlfriend and our awesome dog, Ponzu.
