UK based natural food brands, Bear, hired me on to concept a set of trading cards that would come packaged inside their granola/fruit bars. The set was called Super Species and focused on the super abilities in the animal kingdom. Each of the animals went to a school where they were then grouped into sub-schools (like Harry Potter). Each of these sub-schools represented different traits in the animals.
The client decided to go in a different direction for the final product, but this stage was a lot of fun.

I love giant monster movies. They’re campy, but that’s the best part about them. When planning this print, I wanted to highlight the key plot points that all of these monster movies inevitably share with each other at some point: The fisherman who discovers a new species in his net, the surprise attack, the inept scientist, the super weapon that is not so super, and so on.

Target organizes five amazing carnivals for the patients of St. Jude’s Children’s hospital each year and I was given the opportunity to design all the collateral for the 2012 carnival schedule. These are the posters.
I had a chance to visit St. Jude in Memphis for their Halloween 2011 carnival to volunteer and to get a feel for what it was all about it. It really changed my perspective on the value of the things I have. Those kids have a lot more courage than I will ever have and I am proud to have donated my time for this great cause.

This is why you should buy a certified used car. Buy an uncertified one and risk owning a half cow half car hybrid. The choice is yours.
I was responsible for the design of the first two spots (Area 52 and the Super Hero one). The third one, appropriately named “Backseat Soiree” was a collaborative effort between myself and Audrey Lee.
The additional concepts in the images were from unused ideas. One involved a meteor crash landing on a car and becoming a car…alien. Another was about a car being driven off a pier and swallowed by a giant whale. The last one was involved a car being the happy home of a bee hive.
All spots were animated by the superstars at Brand New School.

TMNT was a huge part of my childhood and this poster is my tribute to the legendary toy line from Playmates. While doing research I realized they got away with a ton of things that would never fly in today’s toy market. Things like Rat King’s roadkill cat pelt and the illustration of Baxter Stockman choking Raphael on his action figure packaging. Oh the ’90s!

Greeting card line for The Birds and The Beasts, a side project I started with my girlfriend Kristine. She is a brilliant writer so we teamed up to create cards that we would want to give to friends and family. These are some of my favorites.
We worked on this brand for three years and have exhibited at many different craft and DIY shows with great success. Sadly, due to time constraints with both of our jobs, we haven't had the time or energy to give The Birds and The Beasts the attention it deserves. For now, the brand is on a permanent hiatus.

This was my submission for Qpop’s Tokusatsu tribute show. Godzilla has always been one of my favorite franchises so I decided to do a piece that paid homage to one of the series best… Great Monster War or better known in the US as Godzilla vs Monster Zero.
The best part about this movie is that Godzilla doesn’t even play a huge role in it. King Ghidrah is definitely the star of this one and I wanted to make sure the poster reflected that.
